ABOUT
Perspective is shaped by
how we move through the world.

THE STORY
Movement came before art.
For more than two decades, my work has centred around the human body - how it moves, adapts and responds to the environments around it.
As a personal fitness coach and later as a diving instructor, I spent years observing the relationship between physical ability, perception and freedom. Becoming a father brought another perspective into that relationship. Through my children, making and creating became part of my everyday life again.
What began as a return to creativity gradually developed into three-dimensional works that bring together photography, physical materials and miniature figures.
Today, these experiences continue to shape the way I work: not as separate chapters, but as different ways of looking at the same question - how we position ourselves within the world around us.
THE WORK
Small figures. Larger questions.
My works use scale to shift perspective. Miniature figures are placed within constructed environments where familiar situations begin to feel different - sometimes playful, sometimes quiet, sometimes uncomfortable.
Sport, landscape and everyday life provide recognisable points of entry. But the subject is rarely the activity itself. I am interested in what becomes visible when proportions change: our relationship with nature, our surroundings, other people and ourselves.
Materials such as resin, acrylic, sand, plaster, cork and photography give these scenes a physical presence beyond the image. Each work exists somewhere between picture, object and constructed space.
